NAVIS Extravaganza – Our goal for this inaugural event is to fund the gift of new shoes for 2,000 McKinney-Vento identified homeless children/families. Beyond the shoes we intend to live out our mission by encouraging, inspiring others in our Lord Jesus Christ. Indeed, the goal is set and we need your help to obtain this milestone.
What Does Navis mean? Navis Latin translation means “a vessel or boat.” We chose the name NAVIS, because it’s synonymous to what Jesus said in Matthew 4:19 “”Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.” Hence, why the celebration is held on the lake and furthermore how we can join together to rally behind becoming better fishers of men/women/children who need us more than ever. You can expect a night of joyous inspiration, impact and networking. The event is expected to attract local leading corporations (Fortune 1000), faith-leaders and organizations covering the metro areas.
